deceased). She has no children and is currently engaged to

Dr. Jake Martin
encountered Lt. Taylor Thompson while jogging and was immediately
interested in her. She was revealed to be an enthusiastic Gulf
War soldier whose fiancé had been killed overseas. She had
previously served with Dr. Frankie Hubbard and was in Pine Valley to
give him an award. A foot injury further complicated by a fall
left Taylor unable to walk until recently. She is eager to
return to the Gulf War, but she is unable to be cleared for return
due to her injuries.
She learned that Brot
Monroe, her fiancé, is actually alive, but is badly burned. He
is resistant to a relationship with her due to his injuries despite
his continued love for her. Jake Martin put the brakes on
their budding romance once he learned Brot was alive and saw the
depth of Taylor's feelings for him.
